While working at The Brink Agency, I was involved in the design and development of packaging and branded materials for Meal Plan Box, a subscription-based food service focused on convenience, health, and minimal waste.

I worked within an existing brand identity and was responsible for creating packaging concepts and printed assets that aligned with the brand’s clean, functional aesthetic. The goal was to deliver visually engaging materials that enhanced the unboxing experience while staying true to the brand’s practical and approachable tone.

The brand’s existing identity used geometric shapes as part of its patterns. I saw an opportunity to give these shapes a purpose beyond decoration, turning them into a visual system for communicating nutritional information.

I assigned distinct shapes and colours to protein, carbohydrates and fats, pairing them with the corresponding quantities. This gave familiar brand elements a new meaning, helping customers identify the meal’s nutritional composition at a glance. The approach connects the packaging’s visual language to the practical purpose of meal planning, while retaining the recognisable character of the existing identity.
